The Greensboro Jaycees is an all-volunteer, non-profit (501 c3) organization. Because we are committed to leadership development as well as community service, the work we do is largely project based. Members agree to work on a specific project and see it through completion. During this process, members utilize and practice skills that are applicable to any leadership position: budget management, resource allocation, marketing, public speaking, and public relations just to name a few.
Following is a list of projects that occur annually, always under the guidance of a new chairperson and committee. In addition, we encourage members to create new projects at any time. Click here to see a list of "Past and Current Projects".
We have developed a project magament system that we call Projects Online. Projects Online allows anyone to see the current projects available as well as sign-up to volunteer. It also allows project chairmen to track and magage their projects.To try it out, click on the link below.
